The All Games Network Prepares for Female Frag Fest ’99

Aggressive, high-speed computer games such as Quake, Sin, and Half-Life have typically been played and dominated by men.

The All Games Network Prepares for Female Frag Fest ’99 gets a June 1999 update. Aggressive, high-speed computer games such as Quake, Sin, and Half-Life have typically been played and dominated by men.

This year, however, The All Games Network is turning the tables with “Female Frag Fest ’99,” a women-only Quake II tournament. Logitech will be one of the sponsors of this year’s tournament, which will be played on HEAT.NET and will be open to all female participants over the age of 18 located in the United States and Canada. The tournament has also been designated an official CPL sanctioned event. Vangie “Aurora” Beal and Stephanie “Bobbi” Bergman, co-hosts of the pioneering net-television show Lilith & Eve officially opened this year’s fragging season to all women with an interest in participating.
