3dfx announces Stock Repurchase Program gets a June 1999 update. 3dfx Interactive announced it has been authorized by its Board of Directors to institute a stock repurchase program whereby up to 2 million shares of its Common Stock may be repurchased in the open market from time to time.

The repurchases will reduce the long-term potential dilution that might result from issuances under the Company’s stock benefit plans. 3dfx Interactive develops high-performance, cost-effective 3D media processors, software and related technology that are designed to enable a highly immersive, interactive and realistic 3D experience across interactive electronic entertainment platforms.
