Blue Byte reorganize European Operations

Blue Byte reorganize European Operations gets a June 1999 update. Blue Byte Software today announced an aggressive change of emphasis in its European Sales and Marketing operations and from July 2nd 1999, it is to centralize their European operations within its head office in Mulheim, Germany.

This move involves the closure of its office in Northampton, England. Thomas Hertzler, CEO of Blue Byte Software explained the reasoning behind the move, “In 1995, at the opening of the UK office, both publishing and channel distribution in the marketplace was very fragmented. The opening of the UK office gave Blue Byte direct control and access to this major market and a wide range of export territories”.
