QSound Labs, a leading supplier of digital and analog audio solutions, and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of electronic components, have formed a technology alliance which will focus on the development, manufacture and marketing of a new line of integrated circuits, incorporating QSound's QSurround technology family, for the world-wide consumer electronics marketplace.

QSound Labs, a leading supplier of digital and analog audio solutions, and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of electronic components, have formed a technology alliance which will focus on the development, manufacture and marketing of a new line of integrated circuits, incorporating QSound’s QSurround technology family, for the world-wide consumer electronics marketplace.
Mitsubishi’s first offering incorporates QSound’s Matrix Decoder/Virtualizer (QMDV) technology into Mitsubishi’s tone-control integrated circuitry and is targeted at OEM’s of stereo televisions and portable and mini-component stereo systems.
