Chessmaster II brings the long-running chess simulation series to the PlayStation, packing the Chessmaster 6000 engine (rated 2468) into a console package. It lets you face off against fictional opponents, thirty-one historic grandmasters, and highly customizable AI personalities. With ranked and casual play, a puzzle setup mode, and a detailed analysis War Room, it's a serious chess tool that happens to run on a game console.
