Jack Nicklaus' Golden Bear Challenge is a PC golf simulation developed and published by Activision in 1999. Bearing the name and endorsement of the legendary golfer, it aims to deliver a realistic golf experience with 3D graphics, variable weather, and detailed course design. Players can compete in multiple game modes including stroke play, match play, and tournament formats across a range of fictional courses. The game emphasizes accurate swing mechanics via a three-click swing meter and offers a variety of camera angles and ball physics. It was one of the early attempts to bring a true-to-life golf simulation to the Windows platform.
