About This Game

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a full Unreal Engine 5 remake of Bethesda's 2006 open-world RPG, released in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and now heading to Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Virtuos, the remaster reworks Cyrodiil with modern visuals, all original DLC including Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, plus smaller add-ons like the Fighter's Stronghold and the infamous Horse Armor Pack. The launch was met with mixed reactions; the scale of the upgrade impressed, but the release suffered from frame rate drops, crashes, and bugs that persisted through multiple patches. The Switch 2 version targets 900p/30fps in handheld and 1080p/30fps docked, with DLSS upscaling and support for motion controls, touch, and mouse mode.
