Hercules Dynamite TNT2 Ships Next Week, 16 MB Model From $149.99
The Hercules Dynamite TNT2 ships in mid-June from $149.99, with guaranteed 145/170 MHz clocks and a bundled HercuMeter overclocking utility.
Hercules announced the Dynamite TNT2 today, its board built around NVIDIA’s RIVA TNT2, shipping in the second week of June and the 16 MB retail version opens at just $149.99. The card pairs the TNT2 with a 300 MHz DAC and up to 32 MB of fast SDRAM.
Hercules is guaranteeing its retail boards at a 145 MHz engine clock and 170 MHz memory clock, with an active cooling fan on the card to keep things stable. Better still, the company is bundling its own HercuMeter overclocking utility in the box, so pushing past those guaranteed clocks is something Hercules is openly inviting rather than pretending nobody does. The Dynamite TNT2 finishes off the high end of the Hercules graphics line, and at $149.99 for the 16 MB version, the TNT2 price war is officially on.
