Four Finalists Will Race for a Toyota Tundra in Zone Tournament Finals

Four MSN Gaming Zone players race in the Tundra Madness finals June 18, competing in Monster Truck Madness 2 for a $27,000 Toyota Tundra.

The MSN Gaming Zone’s Tundra Madness tournament comes down to four players this Friday, June 18, and the winner drives home a V8 Toyota Tundra worth over $27,000, the largest prize the Zone has ever given away. Fittingly, the finals happen at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana in Princeton, the plant where every Tundra is built.

Getting this far took a lot of Monster Truck Madness 2. The tournament, which kicked off in late April and was open to US players registered on the Zone who owned Microsoft’s racing sim, ran on a Toyota-customized version of the game with an online track built just for the event, putting racers in virtual Tundras. More than 1,000 players registered and over 500,000 spectators watched along the way. Along with the truck, Friday’s champion collects the title Duke of Dirt, which honestly might be worth the drive to Indiana by itself.
