Tiberian Sun Pre-Orders Get Signed Manual and Pewter Figurine

Westwood Studios is sweetening the Tiberian Sun pre-order. Reserve Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun through Babbage’s, Electronics Boutique, or the Electronic Arts order line (1-888-212-1702) and you get a limited collector’s edition: a manual signed by the development team, a hand-crafted pewter figurine of a Nod or GDI soldier, and a numbered box coated in silver foil. Once the game ships in late summer, the collector’s edition is gone for good.

The game underneath hardly needs the help. Westwood is promising a nastier, more believable battlefield, new high-tech weapons with their own special abilities, troops that earn experience and pick up new skills, and a battle map generator feeding endless multiplayer. I have been waiting on this one for a long time, and a pewter GDI soldier on my desk is not going to make the wait any easier.
