Logitech Teams With miro displays on Matching Peripherals
Logitech and Radius monitor maker miro displays form a worldwide alliance to sell color-matched peripherals and displays, starting in Q3 with a 15-inch LCD.
Logitech and miro displays, the company behind the Radius monitor line, have struck a worldwide alliance to design and sell peripherals and displays that actually look like they belong on the same desk. The plan is coordinated colors and textures across both companies’ products, pairing miro’s Radius flat-panel and CRT monitors with Logitech keyboards, mice, internet video cameras, and other input gear.
First out of the gate in the third quarter: the Radius S-2F, a 15-inch TFT active matrix LCD monitor, alongside a batch of matching Logitech peripherals. The two companies will market the gear jointly through distributors and retailers, and each will sell the other’s products from its own web store. Whether gamers care what color their mouse is next to their monitor is another question, but somebody clearly thinks you do.
