Dungeon Keeper 2 Ships From EA and Bullfrog

Electronic Arts has begun shipping Dungeon Keeper 2, Bullfrog's sequel that puts you back in charge of the dungeon, rated M with a $39.95 MSRP.

Electronic Arts has started shipping Dungeon Keeper 2, Bullfrog’s sequel to the strategy game that flipped the genre by putting you in charge of the dungeon instead of the heroes raiding it. This time the legions of good King Reginald stand between you and your goal of breaking through to Harmonia, the sunlit world above.

The job is the same rotten work as before. Keepers have to make their dungeons attractive to creatures with their own personalities, traits, and moods: fragile Imps do the digging, Dark Angels are once-divine heroes fallen from grace, and Goblins, good at nothing in particular, still line up to serve. You build traps and specialized rooms too, from casinos where creatures unwind to combat pits where gladiatorial duels turn them into better fighters. Along the way you fend off gold-hungry adventurers, heroes, and rival Keepers with pathetic minions of their own.

Dungeon Keeper 2 carries an M rating from the ESRB and a $39.95 MSRP. It’s good to be bad again.
