NTN’s Play-Calling Game QB1 Wraps Its First NFL Europe Season

QB1, the real-time play-calling game on NFLeurope.com, closed its first season at World Bowl '99; NTN has registered over 100,000 players since January.

NTN Communications says QB1 has finished its first season on NFLeurope.com, the NFL Europe League’s official site developed with SportsLine USA, where it ran as the site’s only interactive football strategy game. The season closed this past Sunday with World Bowl ’99, and registered QB1 players in the United States, Canada, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands called plays alongside the Frankfurt Galaxy and Barcelona Dragons as the two fought for the league championship.

QB1 runs in real time against the live telecast: before each snap, players predict which play the offense is about to run. NTN has registered more than 100,000 players since the game launched on Superbowl.com in January, and the company expects a serious jump this fall when American football kicks back off.
