DOOM is a first-person shooter created by id Software, originally released on PC and console in the 1990s. It became one of the most famous and influential shooter franchises in gaming, and a direct sequel, DOOM II, followed. The series has continued across multiple entries and studios over the decades, most recently returning with 2025's DOOM: Dark Ages. Its original two installments, DOOM and DOOM II, are the games reported to feature on Blaze's Evercade DOOM Collection cartridge.
