Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a Japanese role-playing game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch. It launched on December 1, 2017. A sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles, it follows salvager Rex and the Blades Pyra and Mythra on a journey across the cloud sea of Alrest in search of Elysium.
Nintendo's Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings the 2017 game to Nintendo Switch 2 with technical upgrades and added material. The digital edition is due July 30, 2026, followed by a physical release on October 1, 2026.
