DOOM Collection for Evercade leaks ahead of full announcement
A DOOM Collection cartridge for the Evercade has leaked online ahead of Blaze's full reveal, showing the original PC DOOM and DOOM 2 on one red cart.
A DOOM Collection for the Evercade has turned up in an online listing before Blaze has officially announced it. The cart appears to include the original PC versions of DOOM and DOOM 2, and it comes on a red cartridge to match.
Blaze first teased the DOOM partnership back in February, timed to id Software’s 35th anniversary, and said only that it would share more later in 2026. The leaked listing fills in the obvious gap: the two id shooters that helped define the FPS, now on a physical cart. DOOM joins Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain, Broken Sword, and Duke Nukem on the Evercade lineup, which runs across the EXP-R, VS-R, Super Pocket, and Alpha hardware.

Getting the original PC versions of these id shooters onto a physical cartridge is exactly the kind of preservation the Evercade does well, and doing it on a red cart is a nice touch. Just remember this is a listing, not the finished announcement. The full contents and release date aren’t official until Blaze says so.
