Explore Alien Worlds and Survive in Worlds Explorers – A New Indie Adventure

Hey explorers, get ready to touch down on some alien turf! Indie developer Rafal and Pioneers Games have unveiled their first game, Worlds Explorers, a survival adventure that’s equal parts beautiful and dangerous.A player-controlled astronaut explores a forested alien landscape surrounded by blue armadillo-like creatures, palm-like trees, and scattered resources on the ground.

You and your crew find yourselves stranded on an alien planet with a broken ship—classic “oops, we’re doomed” vibes. But fear not! To survive and escape, you’ll need to hunt alien wildlife, gather resources, and maybe even make friends (or foes) with advanced alien civilizations. Each of the six planets offers a handcrafted mix of strange creatures, unpredictable weather, and secrets waiting to be unearthed. An interior view of a spaceship divided into rooms, including a medbay, control center, and workstations. Crew members are stationed at various points, and inventory stats are shown on the HUD.

Here’s what’s in store:

  • Planetary Exploration: Handcrafted ecosystems, alien phenomena, and more surprises.
  • Tactical Combat: Fight off wildlife (or hunt them for dinner) with a variety of weapons.
  • Crafting & Customization: Build the tools your crew needs to adapt and survive.
  • The Ultimate Goal? Fix the ship, survive the challenges, and make your way to new planets.Player-controlled characters, including a battle robot, are engaging in combat against armed humanoid aliens in a green forested environment. A stream of bullets is visible mid-air.

With plans to add even more planets post-launch, Worlds Explorers looks like the perfect game for survival fans who love exploration with a side of danger. You can wishlist it right now on Steam—so strap in, explorers! The game’s crafting menu shows various recipes for meals like roasted meat, vegetable soup, and fruit drinks, with resource requirements listed on the side.
