Hunt the Night is out today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing Moonlight Games’ dark fantasy action RPG to consoles after its earlier PC release. Publisher DANGEN Entertainment describes it as a “16-bit Zelda x Bloodborne,” built around fast, precision-heavy combat and multi-phase boss fights.
Players take on the role of Vesper, a Stalker fighting back against the Night in the dying world of Medhram. The game leans into skill-driven encounters, dungeon exploration, and character build options that let you tailor upgrades and effects to match your playstyle.
More details from the announcement include a contract-style hunt system accessed at Crow’s Nest, plus an original gothic soundtrack with a special track by Hiroki Kikuta (known for Secret of Mana).
