About This Game
This one is technically a reimagining of the original 2002 PS2 game, released alongside a theatrical film that most people have already forgotten about. The film is not the point. The game is. Insomniac took the bones of the original, rebuilt it with PS4-era visuals and a tighter structure, and delivered one of the cleanest platformers on the system. The weapons are creative, the humor lands more often than it misses, and the whole thing is genuinely playable by anyone regardless of age or skill level. It is a good entry point for the franchise and a good PS4 game on its own terms. If you have kids who are ready for something more involved than a mobile game, this is the answer.
