HEAT.NET, the free online multi-player gaming service with the largest selection of games, and co-sponsor BSG Labs, have announced the official body count and grand prize winner in their recent Quake II Intensor Event.

Quake II Intensor Event hit the wire on October 28, 1998. HEAT.NET, the free online multi-player gaming service with the largest selection of games, and co-sponsor BSG Labs, have announced the official body count and grand prize winner in their recent Quake II Intensor Event. Nearly 400 players participated in grueling three-week preliminary ladder events, making the event the largest multi-player Quake II competition held to date.

Sixty-four players survived the initial carnage to compete in a four-round final elimination event that concluded on Friday, October 2. Played on the treacherous Frag Pipe Map of Quake II, each ten-minute round was won by the player with the highest number of confirmed frags.
