Creative Labs today said that it has significantly lowered the price of its most popular 3D gaming card, 3D Blaster Voodoo2.

3D Blaster Voodoo2 Price Cut hit the wire on October 6, 1998. Creative Labs today said that it has significantly lowered the price of its most popular 3D gaming card, 3D Blaster Voodoo2. Effective this month, the 12MB version of 3D Blaster Voodoo2 is expected to be available at an estimated retail price of US$149.99 after a US$50 manufacturers mail-in rebate.

The 8MB version of 3D Blaster Voodoo2 will also be available at an ERP of US$79.99 after a US$30 manufacturers mail-in rebate. With this extraordinary new pricing, both mainstream PC consumers and hardcore gamers can now enjoy exceptional performance, rapid response times and dazzling graphics when playing today's most popular PC games.
