SolaRola Blasts Off on iOS and Android

Anyone who loved physics-based puzzle platformers probably played the original flash game SolaRola, with the one catch that you couldn’t take it with you on iOS or most Android devices. Square Enix has fixed that, completely revamping the 2007 game and releasing it on the App Store and Google Play.

The redesign brings new cartoon-style graphics, a fresh story, and touch and tilt controls built for mobile. It’s a smart second life for a game whose tilt-and-roll puzzling arguably fits a phone better than it ever did a browser.
