The Secret War Heats Up With 200k Players

Funcom's browser-based The Secret War tie-in hits 200,000 players ahead of The Secret World MMO's June 19th launch.

Funcom says 200,000 people are now taking part in The Secret War, the browser-based social game built around the three-faction conflict of its upcoming MMO The Secret World. With the full game launching June 19th, the browser tie-in is doing its job, getting players invested in the Illuminati-Templar-Dragon rivalry before they ever set foot in the world proper.
