District Court Judge has denied S3 Incorporated’s motion for a preliminary injunction to stop NVIDIA’s shipment of its award-winning RIVA 128 3D processor. The judge made the ruling without hearing oral argument. S3 Incorporated’s motion stemmed from a complaint filed in May of this year, alleging patent infringement involving a patent that S3 had acquired from Cirrus Logic.
