July 1998 keeps moving, and today the headline is simple: Ambrosia Ships first CD-ROM. Ambrosia Software announced the availability of its first CD-ROM.

The disc, priced at $10, contains unregistered versions of Ambrosia’s award-winning shareware, as well as a vast compilation of add-ons. The CD contains every add-on which was listed at the Ambrosia website at time of mastering, including other fun things. For PC players watching every demo, patch, driver and announcement right now, this is one more thing to keep on the board.
