July 1998 keeps moving, and today the headline is simple: UltraCorps on the Zone. Microsoft announced that UltraCorps, nominated for Best Online Game at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in May, is available now on the Microsoft Internet Gaming Zone.

UltraCorps, developed by VR-1 Inc. of Boulder, Colo., is Microsoft’s first turn-based strategy game for grand-scale multiplayer competition, and the Zone’s second pay-to-play online title. For PC players watching every demo, patch, driver and announcement right now, this is one more thing to keep on the board.
