Micron uses Voodoo2

July 1998 keeps moving, and today the headline is simple: Micron uses Voodoo2. 3Dfx Interactive announced that Micron will adopt its Voodoo2 chipset for 3D gaming as a part of Diamond Multimedia’s 12MB Monster 3D II board, for select models of the Millennia line of high-end desktop PCs from Micron Electronics.

There is not a mountain of extra detail here, but it is still one more marker in a month where PC gaming news refuses to sit still.
