Red Orb Entertainment, a division of Broderbund Software, now has announced the release of Warlords III: Darklords Rising, stand-alone sequel to the award-winning Warlords III: Reign of Heroes. Developed by Australia-based Strategic Studies Group (SSG), Warlords III: Darklords Rising is an epic fantasy game of strategy and conquest set in the fabled world of Etheria.

Now the only real question is whether it earns shelf space, because PC gamers are getting buried in boxes this year.
