3Dfx Interactive, now has announced game performance results for Voodoo2 and Voodoo Banshee that are significantly higher than those reported by Mercury Research in a recent.

3Dfx Interactive, now has announced game performance results for Voodoo2 and Voodoo Banshee that are significantly higher than those reported by Mercury Research in a recent evaluation. Mercury Research analysis on Voodoo2 and Voodoo Banshee used two 3D games under conditions that artificially limited the performance reported (as noted in a press release from 3Dfx Interactive issued on August 10, 1998).

Actual game performance for Voodoo Banshee is 78 percent higher on Turok and 32 percent higher on Incoming than the levels reported by Mercury Research.
