Urban Assault showing up in Stores

Here is the latest August 1998 note from the PC gaming front: Urban Assault showing up in Stores.

Microsoft has announced now that Urban Assault, an innovative combination of real time strategy and first person action, is starting to show up in stores. There have been several reports of its availability at Electronics Boutiques throughout the United States, and full distribution is expected by August 26, 1998.

The retail version of Urban Assault is now playable for free matchmaking over the Internet Gaming Zone.

Now the only real question is whether it earns shelf space, because PC gamers are getting buried in boxes this year.
