The Cyberathlete Organization has announced now that Tiger Distributing will be providing all 32 tournament machines for the official CPL one-on-one Quake® II competition.

The Cyberathlete Organization has announced now that Tiger Distributing will be providing all 32 tournament machines for the official CPL one-on-one Quake® II competition. All machines will be identical and certified by the CPL.

The specifications are expected to be: Intel PII 333 MHz, 64 MB RAM, Canopus Pure 3D Voodoo 2 cards and 17″ monitors.

Competitive PC gaming keeps getting louder, and these events are starting to look less like side attractions and more like the next real front.
