Axis & Allies on the Zone

Here is another piece of the September 1998 PC gaming mess. Microsoft said Axis & Allies, the popular WWII strategy game by Hasbro Interactive, is now available for free* multiplayer matchmaking on the Internet Gaming Zone. It’s 1942 and the Axis war machine of Germany and Japan appears indestructible, having a military head start that just might be enough to overcome the Allies’ vast industrial resources.

Judicious maneuvers can swing the balance of power to either side as the Axis and Allies battle for supremacy.
