WCW Nitro Ships

THQ, publisher of four top-selling and critically acclaimed wrestling titles for Nintendo 64 and PlayStation, breaks new ground with WCW Nitro for PC, the first WCW wrestling game for the personal computer.

WCW Nitro Ships is the story on November 30, 1998, and it is one of those late-1998 PC gaming updates that says exactly where the scene is right now. THQ, publisher of four top-selling and critically acclaimed wrestling titles for Nintendo 64 and PlayStation, breaks new ground with WCW Nitro for PC, the first WCW wrestling game for the personal computer. The game, shipping Monday, will be available in major retail outlets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $29.95.

WCW Nitro" features 3-D-accelerated graphics and lightning-fast game play, and is compatible with PC Game Pads. The game allows armchair athletes to engage in professional wrestling's many types of combat, including tournaments, tag teams and an all-new, over-the-top-rope battle-royal mode that can feature up to 30 grapplers from start to finish. Free stuff, prizes, tournaments, and rebates are always worth a look, provided you read the fine print first.
