Interplay and Gremlin Interactive Agreement
Interplay Entertainment announced it has reached agreement with Gremlin Interactive Limited for the rights to publish five new entertainment software titles in North America.
Interplay and Gremlin Interactive Agreement is the story on November 24, 1998, and it is one of those late-1998 PC gaming updates that says exactly where the scene is right now. Interplay Entertainment announced today that it has reached agreement with Gremlin Interactive Limited for the rights to publish five new entertainment software titles in North America. These new titles represent the fulfillment of an earlier agreement signed in 1995 that called for Interplay to release titles developed by the Sheffield, UK-based Gremlin and does not require any additional advances.
The agreement gives Interplay the exclusive publishing rights in North America for five new titles from the European software maker for both PCs and console systems. The titles include: Actua Tennis, Soulbringer, Whiplash 2 and Tanktics. The business side keeps moving, and sometimes those deals decide what we actually get to play next year.
