Interactive Magic Acquires MPG-Net

Interactive Magic, a developer and publisher of award-winning Online, Internet and PC CD-ROM games, announced today that it has signed a agreement to acquire MPG-Net, an Internet gaming service and online entertainment technologies company.

Interactive Magic, a developer and publisher of award-winning Online, Internet and PC CD-ROM games, announced today that it has signed a agreement to acquire MPG-Net, an Internet gaming service and online entertainment technologies company. Interactive Magic will merge MPG-Net's content and technology into the iMagic Online Internet gaming service.

As part of the agreement, Interactive Magic will inherit an existing MPG-Net contract to be the sole provider of the upcoming online game service for GameHub, soon to be available to AT&T's WorldNet's 1.3 million members. The business side keeps moving, and sometimes those deals decide what we actually get to play next year.
