Shogo on the MSN Gaming Zone

Shogo on the MSN Gaming Zone is the kind of release that keeps old games breathing a little longer, and that matters.

The important bit: Microsoft announced Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, Monolith Productions’ first-person 3D shooter, is now available for free multiplayer matchmaking on the MSN Gaming Zone. Shogo is inspired by the Japanese anime tradition. In the game, players take the role of Sanjiro Makabe, a security forces officer on the planet Cronos who is swept into a battle between terrorists and mega-corporations.

Old code, old engines, and old tools do not stay useful by accident. Somebody has to keep pushing them forward.
