Shogo v2.1 Patch Fix

The important bit: Monolith released the Shogo v2.1 Patch Fix. If you downloaded the Shogo Patch right when it came out (before 12/16/98), be sure to download this Server.dll FIX that solves multiplayer problems.

Shogo v2.1 Patch Fix is the news today, and for late 1998 PC players that usually means one thing: another download, patch, demo, date, or box hitting shelves.

The important bit: Monolith released the Shogo v2.1 Patch Fix. If you downloaded the Shogo Patch right when it came out (before 12/16/98), be sure to download this Server.dll FIX that solves multiplayer problems. The problem with the previous patch was that people had ‘Connection Rejected’ bug (server wasn’t allowing certain clients to expire) and Winsock blocking bug which caused the server to pause for a long time.

That is the kind of practical news that actually helps. Either grab it, patch it, or mark the date before the next flood of downloads buries it.
