Legacy Interactive today announced that it is shipping 75,000 units of Emergency Room 2 and Best of Emergency Room 2 to the consumer retail channel, through its new distributor, GT Interactive.

Legacy Interactive today announced that it is shipping 75,000 units of Emergency Room 2 and Best of Emergency Room 2 to the consumer retail channel, through its new distributor, GT Interactive. Previous DOS versions of this highly popular doctor game have sold more than 230,000 units in software stores. With Emergency Room 2, the Company is shipping for the first time a product version compatible with both Windows 95/98 and Power Macintoshes.

For January 1999, this is the business side of gaming doing what it always does: studios forming, publishers moving money around, lawsuits flying, and everyone promising the next big thing. Somewhere in that mess, players eventually get the games. Maybe.
