All-Star Baseball 2000 Endorsement Deal

Acclaim Sports, a division of Acclaim Entertainment today announced that Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees has signed an exclusive endorsement deal for All-Star Baseball 2000. Licensed by Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, All-Star Baseball 2000 features Acclaim’s renowned Hi-Rez graphics, all 30 Major League teams, over 700 players from the MLBPA, authentic team play styles, and full season-long player and team stats.

For January 1999, this is the business side of gaming doing what it always does: studios forming, publishers moving money around, lawsuits flying, and everyone promising the next big thing. Somewhere in that mess, players eventually get the games. Maybe.
