Sierra Sports to make RODEO Games hits the March 1999 news desk on March 4, 1999. Sierra Sports announces the signing of three exclusive multiyear license agreements with Professional Bull Riders (PBR), 7-time World Champion All-Around Cowboy, Ty Murray and legendary Hall of Fame bull rider, Tuff Hedeman.
With these three multiyear licenses signed, Sierra Sports is taking the bull by its horns and making a long-term commitment to a new category of simulations, RODEO. The first product out of the chutes is Professional Bull Rider, a unique simulation that captures the thrills, spills and challenge of bull riding on the PBR circuit. It is not the loudest kind of gaming news, but the business and community machinery matters. Games do not appear out of thin air.
