The Settlers III Mission CD Announced hits the March 1999 news desk on March 1, 1999. Blue Byte Software confirmed the first Add-On CD for The Settlers III is planned for release on April 1st, 1999.

The Settlers III Mission CD offers a multitude of new packs in including: three new campaigns with a variety of mission goals, 10 new single player maps and 10 new multiplayer maps for playing together on a LAN or via the Internet. Additionally, Settlers fans will be able to create their very own single player and multiplayer maps for The Settlers III, using The Settlers III Level Editor; an easy program written for Windows which is simple to use and control. Now it leaves the press-release fog and goes where it belongs: onto hard drives, store shelves, and multiplayer lobbies.
