Massive Entertainment terminated with agreement EA is moving on the business side today, because apparently the games industry cannot go five minutes without someone buying, signing, or reorganizing something. Massive Entertainment today revealed that the company’s publishing agreement with Electronic Arts has been terminated. The termination affects Massive Entertainment’s upcoming game Genesis (working title), which is due to be completed later this year. All rights to the title have been returned to Massive Entertainment.Genesis is a unique tactical-strategy game positioning the gamer as a Commander of a military strike force in the year 2419AD. With its’ proprietary 3D engine and control system the title advances the RTS genre into a more reality-based experience.
Bottom line: if this is your kind of game, start watching the download pages and store shelves. April has been stupidly busy, and this one just joined the pile.
