Female Frag Fest ’99 Announced

Female Frag Fest ’99 has been revealed today, giving us one more thing to watch as 1999 keeps getting louder. Are you a female Quake II player? How does an all-expense paid trip to new York, complete with a trip to the spa, a Broadway show, a seat in the upcoming East Coast Cyberathlete Professional League event, and a chance to win even more great prizes and games sound. On June 1, 1999 Vangie “Aurora” Beal and Stephanie “Bobbi” Bergman, co-hosts of the pioneering Internet television show Lilith & Eve, will kick off registration for the world’s first all female Quake II tournament, Female Frag Fest ’99. The tournament will take place on HEAT.NET, the online multi-player service, with the finals, taking place at the East Coast Cyberathlete Professional League Event in new York City.

It may not be the same thrill as a fresh demo, but this stuff shapes what actually reaches players. Boring paperwork today can turn into games on shelves tomorrow.
