14th Annual GDC Dates Announced

14th Annual GDC Dates has been revealed today, giving us one more thing to watch as 1999 keeps getting louder. Following an unprecedented attendance record at the 1999 Game Developers Conference (GDC), Miller Freeman today revealed the dates for next year’s 14th annual GDC and the second annualGAMEXecutive Conference. The interactive entertainment industry’s leading developer event, the GDC, will take place March 9-13, 2000 in San Jose, CA at the San Jose Convention Center. The GAMEXecutive Conference, targeted at venture capitalists, CEOs, executives and strategists in marketing, sales, distribution and finance involved in the business side of the title industry, will occur March 9-10, 2000. The GDC and GAMEXecutive Conference are trade-only events.

It may not be the same thrill as a fresh demo, but this stuff shapes what actually reaches players. Boring paperwork today can turn into games on shelves tomorrow.
