Eidos teams up with Timeline Studios

Timeline Studios, the newly formed computer gaming company of best-selling author Michael Crichton, and Eidos announced the signing of a major publishing and investment deal.

Eidos teams up with Timeline Studios is the latest item crossing the POCG news desk. Timeline Studios, the newly formed computer gaming company of best-selling author Michael Crichton, and Eidos announced the signing of a major publishing and investment deal.

In the agreement, Eidos has taken a long-term equity investment in Timeline Studios. This investment will fund the development of a series of cutting-edge titles based on new Crichton properties. The first, as yet unnamed, title from Timeline Studios is expected to be published in the first half of 2000. Timeline Studios, based in Cary, North Carolina, was formed by Michael Crichton, the author of such bestsellers as Jurassic Park and Disclosure.
