Comanche 4 is now on the board. NovaLogic announced the latest installment in its popular Comanche series of simulations based on the U.S.

Army’s RAH-66 Comanche armed reconnaissance helicopter. High on the list of improvements slated for Comanche 4 is a painstaking real-world physics system, which will include detailed, six-degrees-of-freedom flight modeling for the Comanche and the other aircraft in the game. Comanche 4 will also feature greatly enhanced graphics thanks to a new, 32-bit-color version of NovaLogic’s proprietary Voxel Space 3D engine, which yields much more realistic rolling terrain than traditional polygon-based engines can render, a must when simulating the stealthy, ground-hugging Comanche.
