Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast Shipped

Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast is moving into stores. Black Isle Studios, the role-playing game division of Interplay Entertainment, announced today the release of Tales of the Sword Coast (TOTSC), the adventure add-on to the worldwide hit, Baldur’s Gate.

Developed by the Canada-based software company, BioWare, TOTSC expands the original Baldur’s Gate gameplay area by offering new quests and challenges to the main game. Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast will be available in some retailers on CD-ROM for Windows 95/98 computers beginning tomorrow. Gamers will need the original Baldur’s Gate in order to play. TOTSC takes the player through additional areas filled with intriguing new characters, items and quests.
