Madden NFL 2000 goes gold! is the news today, which means another box, download, or retail shelf just got busier.

EA Sports is behind the announcement. EA Sports announced that their new football game, Madden NFL 2000 has gone gold.

It’s expected to be in stores here in the US on September 1st. Among Madden 2000’s new list of features are: an expanded Multiplayer Franchise mode, a Player Editor and Situation Creator, and MaddenNet – a free Battle.net-ish service for players to meet and match.
