EA SPORTS Fantasy Football Announced landed today, giving players another thing to circle on the calendar.

Electronic Arts is behind the announcement. Electronic Arts today unveiled EA SPORTS Fantasy Football.

The product allows football fans nationwide to tap into a subscription-based web site and participate in online fantasy leagues using some of the most advanced fantasy football tools available. The EA SPORTS Fantasy Football package offers three products for one fee, US$49.95.

We will see if it lives up to the pitch, because the late-1999 release calendar is not exactly taking mercy on anyone.
