3DO Expands Heroes of Might and Magic III is the word today, and that means Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon’s Blade is moving from wish-list chatter into something players can actually touch.

The 3DO Company announced the release of Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon’s Blade, an expansion pack for Heroes of Might and Magic III, the highly acclaimed, award-winning turn-based strategy game developed by New World Computing. Armageddon’s Blade continues the compelling game play of its predecessors and adds new elements, campaigns and scenarios that keep the magic alive for hours upon hours of game play. Armageddon’s Blade features 6 new campaigns, over 35 new stand-alone scenario maps, and 10 new maps optimized for multiplayer mayhem, for a total of over 73 new maps.
